My Presidential Nominees

     India is gearing up for presidential elections to be held later this year. We have heard a lot of names being mentioned, most notably APJ Abdul Kalam, Pranab Mukherjee and Hamid Ansari. The main opposition BJP is promoting former president Abdul Kalam. Sushma Swaraj has claimed that Vice President Hamid Ansari does not have the personality to be the President of our Nation. Let us fixate on this comment. Surely the job of the president must go to some one who is immensely popular with the Indian population. The post of President is mostly ceremonial. So it doesn’t matter if the president is politically literate or comes with any vast knowledge of Indian governance. So here I present to you some of my nominees who I feel are much more deserving to be our President.

1.Chulbul Pandey:

This is an immensely popular character played by Salman Khan in the bollywood movie Dabang. Here we have an Indian version of Robin Hood. As the president of our country Chulbul Pandey would try to usurp our corrupt politicians of their ill gained wealth and distribute the same to the needy while keeping a huge chunk for himself. I am sure I would be happy for Chulbul to earn crores of rupees instead of the likes of A Raja and Kalmadi. Also some of his quotes in media would be hugely more entertaining as compared to the current incumbent.

2.Mr.India:

A president who has the power to be invisible as and when required. He can spy on some of our politicians and expose them. He can travel anywhere undetected, thus there would be no need for any security cover. We would save millions on security arrangements. Our current president has a fetish for traveling abroad having spent 205 crores on such travels. Mr.India as president would not have spent so much since he could travel and live any where in the country he is visiting for free undetected. Even if he wants to purchase some souvenirs from these nations, he need not bother since he can shoplift. Not only would we save 205 Cr but also there would be no need to provide him a residence after retirement since he can stay at Rashtrapati Bhavan undetected after completing his tenure.

3.Gabbar Singh:

He is the real Hero from Sholay. A just and honest ruler(dacoit). I say so because he removed three bullets from his gun in order to punish Kalia and Co since 3 aadmi and 6 goli was bahut NaInsafi according to him. There are aspects of Gabbar Singh’s character that people have not paid much attention to. We must appreciate him for punishing Thakur for his arrest and defamation.India has been a soft state for a very long time. We are yet to punish any of those terrorists who murdered thousands of our countrymen. Gabbar singh as president would exact revenge on these unsuspecting individuals just like he did with Thakur. Due to Gabbar Singh’s presence ,many Indian politicians would be disciplined.

4.Circuit:

He is the go to guy for Munnabhai. Circuit can fix any problem. He has solutions for any problem encountered by Munnabhai. He can get anything and everything. Surely he would bring all these qualities when he occupies the top post. He would help India get the nod from Nuclear Suppliers Group, get us the permanent seat on UN Security Council, lots oil from Iran without any apprehensions from US. He will fix a huge problem that is Didi. How he does it is debatable.

5.Rajnikanth:

I know he is not a character from any movie but a living person. May be that is why he looks the favourite among all these candidates. I am not talking about old, bald, lungi wearing ,bidi smoking version. But the one we see in his films defying age and logic. The one with jeans ,T-shirt ,shades, wig and a swinging cigarette. I need not explain much about this guy since there isn’t much that you might not already know. He is the real Superhero. But what really works in his favour is that ‘ HE CAN FIX THE KASHMIR DISPUTE’. Enough said.
